Day 1: Civitacecchia (Rome), Italy
Board the vessel, settle into your cabin and time to explore! Foyer, lounges & bars, restaurants, spa, sports facilities, disco, disco, playground, swimming pools, live music and performance venues.
Day 2: Livorno, Italy
On the west coast of Tuscany lies the cosmopolitan port city of Livorno, an MSC Mediterranean Cruises destination. This Italian getaway is known for its historical architecture, sumptuous seafood, and checkboard waterside promenade. Livorno is the perfect launch pad for visiting Tuscany’s beautiful art cities, Florence and Pisa. What’s more, you’ll find great natural environments, like Macchia della Magona, spread across the region. Marseille’s terracotta rooftops, turquoise sea, limestone rocks and vivid street art form a landscape like no other in France. Even as France’s second-largest city, locals liken it to 111 villages. See buildings such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria which features designs by Gaudí and one of the world’s largest stained-glass windows, or the Gothic Bellver castle with its circular centre and eye-catching towers. There are plenty of exciting things to see including: The Cathedral of La Seu, Sóller and Vintage Train Ride, Dragon’s Caves. Palma’s most remarkable building, the 14th-century La Seu, positioned atop the former citadel, this Gothic cathedral was constructed almost 400 years ago. Spanish traditions are kept alive at Balearic Coliseum in Plaza de Toros, a historical arena that still hosts bullfights. Or take a trip to La Almudaina, the glorious summer residence of the Spanish Royal Family.
Day 5: Valencia, Spain
Valencia is Spain’s third largest city, and in recent years has blossomed into somewhere truly special. A few highlights include world-famous Valencian paella and the vast Oceanogràfic Valencia. The latter is part of the fabulous avant-garde complex known as the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències (City of Arts and Sciences), a group of futuristic architectural delights designed by local architect Santiago Calatrava, which have featured in sci-fi productions from Doctor Who to Westworld and the Star Wars franchise. Just near the port to north and south are various Valencia beaches, totalling almost 20 kilometres and fringed with paella restaurants and chiringuitos (beach bars serving cocktails with an Ibiza vibe and chilled tunes). A short way south is Albufera, a lagoon among rice fields used for the local dish, paella. A Valencia cruise brings all this within your reach.

Its rich past can be seen in the medieval hilltop Castello and in architectural jewels such as Bastione San Remy. Inland, archaeological wonders including the extraordinary Nuraghe are waiting to be discovered.
