Day 1, Monday: Naples, Italy – Boarding the ship, settling in the cabin and time to explore! Foyer, 18 lounges & bars, 11 restaurants, spa, sports facilities, rafting & racing simulator F1, disco, aquapark, baby club, junior & teens clubs, swimming pools, live music venues, casino and theater…

Day 2, Tuesday: Messina, Italy – The third largest city in Sicily, located at the northern tip of the island. It was founded in the 8th century BC. with Greek settlers from Chalkida. Get to know the city with an organized excursion, or visit Taormina & Etna.

Day 3, Wednesday: Valletta, Malta – In Malta, cities like Baroque Valletta and medieval Mdina reveal the island’s ancient past. European Capital of Culture for 2018, Valletta has 16th century buildings on display, bright museums and a stunning promenade. Explore the city of Valletta on a scenic MSC Cruises tour. Visit the beautiful Barrakka Gardens, take a look at stunning Baroque and neoclassical buildings Admire the ornate interiors of St. John’s Cathedral, which houses Caravaggio’s world-famous painting. Or, take a cruise to the Grand Harbor, admiring the fortifications and historical past of the city?

Day 4, Thursday: At sea – Activities of your choice. The exploration continues!

Day 5, Friday: Barcelona, Spain – The seaside city of Barcelona is known for its iconic architecture, culture, drinks and world-class food. Explore Antonio Gaudi’s surreal Sagrada Familia, the famous Ramblas, the medieval Gothic Quarter and the Picasso Museum. But there is more to discover in this vast Spanish city, from hidden tapas bars and great food markets to Europe’s largest football stadium.

Day 6, Saturday: Marseille, France – The second largest city in France after Paris. Its port, the largest in France and the Mediterranean and the third largest port in Europe. It is a famous arts, culture and music centre. The national anthem of France, “La Marseillaise”, was named after the soldiers of Marseilles who sang this anthem in the streets of Paris. Take a tour of the city of Marseille, Arles, Aix-en-Provence, or Avignon.

Day 7, Sunday: Genoa, Italy – The port of Genoa is the gateway to the glamorous Riviera in Italy. Wander its medieval alleys, with a tour guide or by segway. Head to the historic Piazza Matteotti and admire a magnificent 16th- and 17th-century complex of buildings. Genoa’s naval heritage is evident in La Lanterna, a historic lighthouse built in 1543. Beyond the city, there are romantic towns along the coast, including Portofino.

Day 8, Monday: Naples, Italy – Return and disembarkation. Naples, one of the ancient jewels of Italy with a living historical centre around the impressive bay of its port. Discover the architectural sights, masterpieces of art and rich food, if your schedule allows .. The dormant volcano of Vesuvius offers a postcard-like backdrop. Travel a little further out of town, to the archeological site of Pompeii or visit the glamorous and cosmopolitan Capri.
