Travel to beautiful Naxos, in ancient times a place of worship of the god Dionysus! This Cycladic island is famous for its marbles and commercial activities! It masterfully combines the reputation of a modern tourist resort as well as the folk and traditional element. Furthermore, Naxos, apart from the golden sandy beaches, the crystal clear waters and the captivating landscapes, offers the ideal conditions for windsurfing, as the winds during the summer months on the island are favourable for water sports!

Day 1: Thessaloniki – Piraeus

Departure from Thessaloniki at 22.00 in the evening. With stops en route for coffee and rest, we arrive early in the morning at the port of Piraeus.

Day 2: Piraeus – Naxos

Departure for Naxos at 07.25. Arrival at 12:30. Visit to the castle of the chora of Naxos where the wall of the castle is adjacent to the walls of the surrounding houses. The medieval settlement was not only a place of residence but also an administrative, educational and religious centre for the Venetian conquerors. In the centre of the walled city is the central square with the Catholic cathedral and the ruins of the central tower, which tradition says was the palace of Sanoudos. Check-in at the hotel. Free time for a first acquaintance with the city. We suggest you visit the famous Portara or Temple of Apollo during sunset, where it is very picturesque and capture the moment! Overnight stay.

Day 3: Naxos (Island tour)

Breakfast and departure for a tour of central Naxos. First stop is the village of Halki, the old centre of the island. Walk along the cobbled streets and visit the first distillery of kitro, the traditional drink of Naxos. Next stop at the village of Moni and the Byzantine monastery of Panagia Drosiani. Then we will visit Filoti, and continue to the “marble village” of Apeiranthos, the jewel of the mountainous Naxos, time for lunch. We continue to Sagri, known for its architecture, scattered monasteries and the archaeological site of the Temple of Demeter in the area of Gyroulas. We will end up at the famous beach of Agia Anna, with its cedar forest. Free time for swimming. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 4: Naxos (Optional Koufonisia cruise)

Breakfast. Free day at the disposal of the excursionists. Those who want can participate in an optional cruise to the beautiful Koufonisia and admire the natural beauties and crystal clear waters. Overnight stay.

Day 5: Naxos – Piraeus – Thessaloniki

Breakfast. Departure for the port and sailing to Piraeus at 09:30. Arrival in Piraeus at 15:00. We take the way back. With stops in between, we arrive at Thessaloniki, full of beautiful images from our journey.
