Easter in Patmos!

Programme:
Day 1: Thessaloniki – Piraeus – Patmos (Great Wednesday).
Departure from Thessaloniki at 08.30. With stops en route in Tempi and Lamia, arrival at the port of Piraeus. Boarding the ship and sailing at 18.00 for the island of Apocalypse, Patmos.
Day 2: Patmos (Maundy Thursday).
Arrival on the island at 02.10 in the morning. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay. Breakfast. Departure to attend in the square of Loza, the ceremony of the Holy Communion. The Holy Communion is the re-enactment of the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with his disciples. Visit to Lambis beach and lunch at the beach of Kampos. Return to the hotel. In the afternoon attend the service of the Twelve Gospels at Kampos. Return to Skala Patmos Overnight.
Day 3: Patmos (Good Friday).
Breakfast. Departure for the Holy Cave of the Apocalypse to watch the ceremony of the Deposition. We continue to the famous Monastery of St. John the Theologian (1088 AD) which dominates over Chora. Visit and pilgrimage to the Monastery of Zoodochos Pigi and Panagia Diasozousa. Free time. Return to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will attend the gathering of the epitaphs in Skala. Overnight stay.
Day 4: Patmos – Lipsi – Patmos (Holy Saturday).
Breakfast. Departure for an optional day trip to Lipsi. Return to Patmos. Free time. In the evening we will attend the Resurrection Mass. Overnight.
Day 5: Patmos (Easter Sunday).
Breakfast. Free time to celebrate Easter. Visit to the monastery of St. John the Theologian where the 2nd Resurrection takes place in the afternoon. In the evening optional entertainment. Overnight.
Day 6: Patmos – Piraeus – Thessaloniki (Easter Monday).
Breakfast. Departure to visit the seat of St. Nektarios in Loukakia. We continue for a visit and pilgrimage to the Seat of All Saints, on the north side of the port of Skala. However, the presence of the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary, “the joy of all” overshadowed the honour of the Saints and established the place in the popular consciousness as the “Seat of Panagia Koumana”. Free time. Transfer to the port. Board the ship and sail at 13.40 for Piraeus. Arrival in Piraeus at 21.05 With intermediate stops, arrival in our city , full of beautiful memories of our trip!
